Travis Brown
Clark County Area Representative
As a former two-sport collegiate athlete, and pitcher for the semi-pro Goldpanners, Travis’ run finally ended with multiple surgeries. Leaving it all on the court/field was something he learned from excellent coaches, but also Christ-centered camps and organizations. Travis had just completed one of his last federal contracts while juggling a schedule of coaching youth sports when he discovered FCA. In canvasing additional work opportunities, a neighbor invited him to attend his son’s FCA Baseball game. The level of play was impressive, and the father’s testimony spoke loudly about the program.
This led Travis to research more about FCA. The Great Commission and unabashed proclamation for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that FCA stood for was exactly what he was looking for. Travis is excited to join FCA’s mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church in Clark County and beyond.
