Ryan Johnston- Greater Portland Area Director 971-222-4551
Ryan is starting his second year on staff with FCA. Prior to FCA, Ryan spent 3 years on staff with Young Life in West Linn. He coached high school baseball in West Linn for 6 years and has a huge heart for coaches and athletes. Ryan has a beautiful wife named Molly and they have been married for 3 years. Outside of ministry, Ryan is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys fishing and hunting in his spare time.
Nick Mucci- Inner City Portland Area Representative 503-453-0367
Nick has been on staff with FCA since November 2012. A native of Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), Nick has been involved in ministry within urban contexts for the last 7 years and is excited about the opportunities he will have to serve God through FCA within the PIL schools of Portland. Nick is also the President of the local Youth football program associated with his local High School. Husband to Mandy, father to Dominick, Eli, and Mia. When not engaged with the ministry of FCA Nick puts his energy into loving his wife well, wrestling with his kids, and pouring into his pet project, the B. Moore Project (www.bmooreproject.org). When time allows, he sleeps.

Johanna joined the FCA team in May 2013. She graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Sports Management and a minor in Communications. She also has a background working with youth and college ministries, as well as church administration. Although graduating from WSU, Johanna’s first college love (thanks to her parents) has always been the Oregon Ducks. Johanna is married and she and her husband, Cory, moved to Vancouver, WA in January of this year. Together they love reading and cooking. Outside of work, Johanna enjoys baking, going four-wheeling and catching a good movie.

Val has been an FCA team member since 2009. Born and raised in Tennessee, she is one of six kids – all singers serving God in various church worship ministries. Val was a 25-year resident of Chicago before moving to Oregon in August of 2010 to serve as the Greater Portland Area Admin, along side her Husband, Ron. Married to Ron for 29 years, they have 3 children, Catherine, Kristen and Kevin. When not involved with FCA, Val enjoys running, reading, writing music and journaling, singing on church worship team, watching Kevin’s Baseball games, chatting with family by phone/skyping with her 82 year old dad, hosting gatherings with new friends and neighbors and traveling/hiking this gorgeous state.
In her new role as Portland East Area Rep and PNW FCA Admin, Val’s goal is to complete a Prayer Walk around every Middle School, High School and College in the Greater Portland area.
